I haven’t had a chance to play the DLC yet, but I just wanted to say how much I’ve enjoyed Silicon Dreams. The writing, the absurdly detailed web of cause and effect, the music, the everything! It’s criminal the game hasn’t gotten more attention. I’m part of a Discord group that regularly watches movies and streams games about AI, and we had a blast streaming this one (and, of course, playing it both as a group and independently). It’s always a delight to realize how differently a conversation could have gone when we talk about our playthroughs after. For instance – when I first spoke with Atter, he seemed like a mostly decent guy. A friend went down different conversational branches and found him to be utterly loathsome (and berated him for being a terrible father). My conversation with R-1982 ended abruptly, as my D-0527 followed orders; a friend let the interrogation go on long enough that R-1984 deviated and begged for his life. She later tried to recreate her first playthrough to take screenshots of the dialogue – and found herself unable to replicate it because of the conversational nuances of the interrogations. There’s so much going on here, and that is *awesome.* 😀

I look forward to taking on the new subjects (and, I must say, was delighted to see D-0704 mentioned as a fellow interrogator on one of the cases). Thank you for creating something so engaging – and for prompting many hours of discussion, dissection, and general enjoyment in our group on Discord.
